Fire Compliance Audits and Reporting

Conduct a Report is to assist the Body Corporate to meet its legal obligations under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008. In essence, as an owner or occupier of a building in Queensland, you have a legal obligation to ensure the safety of any person in your building in the event of a fire or hazardous material emergency. The report is designed to assist you to manage your legislative legal obligations under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008.
An inspection will be conducted of the body corporate common property only and an assessment made of the extent of compliance of the building in relation to the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008. The inspector will assess the following key areas :

  • Exit Doors
  • Fire / Smoke Doors and Walls
  • Evacuation Signs / Diagrams
  • Occupancy Limits / Overcrowding
  • Exit Signs / Emergency Lighting
  • Fire Equipment
